The Consular section of this Embassy caters to the Sri Lankan community through Passport Services, Registration of Births/Marriages and Deaths and other Consular Services, and attends to Visa Services of foreign nationals.
Labour Section
There is a large Sri Lankan expatriate community living and working in Qatar and the Labour section of the Embassy is entrusted to ensure their welfare
Visa
The Department of Immigration and Emigration of Sri Lanka has introduced a new Machine Readable Visa Sticker (MRV), replacing the present visa issuance system, which complies with the standards of ICAO, while also incorporating universally recognized security features
