The “76th Anniversary of Independence of Sri Lanka” was celebrated at the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Qatar on February 4, 2024. The commemorative event, held at the Embassy premises, brought together the Sri Lankan community.In his brief remarks, Ambassador H.E. Mohomed Mafaz Mohideen welcomed all participants and underscored the significance of unity, steadfastness, and commitment among all Sri Lankans in the ongoing nation-building campaign. He expressed gratitude to the participants for joining the Embassy, to pay tribute to the motherland and honor the national heroes.
